Corporation Street reopening update - 29 November 

Swindon Borough Council have today announced an earlier than planned opening of Corporation Street with immediate effect.

Whilst this is welcome news for traffic levels and the residents of Swindon in general, we regret that due to the complexity of changing back to our previous routes and timetables, we cannot do so until the originally scheduled date of Saturday 2nd December.  Until that date, we will continue to operate the temporary timetables and stopping arrangements that we have been operating since August, with apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Corporation Street is due to reopen on Friday 1 December, during the early evening. We will continue with our temporary timetables and routes until the end of service on this day.

From Saturday 2 December, some services and/or routes will be changed as follows:

• 2 - The service 2 timetable will be unchanged but will revert to original inbound route via Fleming Way (Spring Gardens) and Corporation Street

• 5 - The service 5 timetable will revert prior to Corporation Street closure - buses to Orbital Park will now use Stop W in Manchester Road and not stop L outside Swindon Bus Station.

• 11/12 - The service 11/12 timetable and route will revert prior to Corporation Street closure - buses to Oakhurst will now use Stop W in Manchester Road and not stop L outside Swindon Bus Station.

• 13/14 - The service 13/14 timetable will be unchanged and will revert to the original inbound route via Fleming Way (Spring Gardens) and Corporation Street

• 17 - The service 17 timetable and route will revert to prior to Corporation Street closure

• 21/23/25 - The service 21/23/25 timetable will revert prior to Corporation Street closure

• 22 - Service 22 will revert to running through between Okus and Barnfield via Town Centre, with a revised timetable
