Fleming Way Reopens on 31 August

We are delighted to announce the £33 million bus boulevard will open on Sunday, August 31, Swindon Borough Council has confirmed.

Fleming Way has been closed since September 2022 as work is carried out to create the public transport hub in the town centre.

The upgraded site will feature new bus shelters with extra space to allow for accessibility for those in wheelchairs, as well as wireless charging, solar panels and digital screens with real time information for departures.

More than 181 trees and 23,000 plants and bushes have been planted with the aim of providing town centre visitors by train, bus or bike an improved public realm.
