Half term by bus!
With February half term just around the corner, why not plan your days out using the bus? With the £2 single fare cap in place, and up to two kids under five able to travel for free with a paying adult, you can't go wrong!
Here are a few ideas for days out by bus:
- Head to Coate Water Country Park for a day out in the open. With plenty of facilities including mini golf, play areas and plenty of space for picnics and dog walking, there is something for everyone. Plus our 13 & 14 from the town centre run up to every 10 minutes!
- Check out the Link Centre for a range of activities from ice skating and trampolining to swimming and soft play. The Shaw Ridge Leisure Park is just across the road and offers laser quest, bowling and a cinema! Our 1, 1a and 1b run up to every 10 minutes from the bus station to this location.
- Try out the STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway to get up close to iconic GWR locomotives with interactive stations and a FREE bridge builders event on the 14th and 15th of February. Use our journey planner to find the range of routes that serve this attraction.
