Single fares & TravelPass Dayriders
Single fares are capped at £3 thanks to the Department for Transport scheme, funded by UK Government but some singles cost less than £3. Adult single fares are either be £2.20, £2.80 or £3.00 max.
If you are making at least two trips in one day, a TravelPass Dayrider offers great value as it gives you unlimited travel within the fare zone you are travelling in. Our TravelPass Dayrider for our urban fare zone is just £5.20 and a TravelPass Dayrider Plus is £6.30 if purchased on our app or via tap on tap off.
If you pay for your tickets on the bus, we recommend you use tap on/ tap off, but don’t forget to use the same contactless payment card each time you travel. Find out more about tap on tap off.

TravelPass Dayrider tickets
If you only need to use our services, TravelPass Dayrider tickets are cheaper on the Swindon Bus app. If you still prefer to buy a paper ticket from the driver a TravelPass Dayrider will cost £5.20 and a TravelPass Plus Dayrider is £6.30 - you can pay by cash or contactless bank card.
If you travel regularly don’t forget there are more savings to be made with our period passes.
TravelPass Dayrider tickets, give unlimited travel on all Swindon Bus and Stagecoach buses within the Swindon urban zone for the whole day.
TravelPass Plus Dayrider tickets, give unlimited travel on all Swindon Bus and Stagecoach buses within Swindon and to and from Royal Wootton Bassett, Purton, Cricklade, Highworth, South Marston, Wanborough, Liddington, Foxhill, Chiseldon and Draycot Foliat.
Eveningrider tickets are valid for unlimited travel after 6pm on all Swindon Bus and Stagecoach buses in the urban and plus zones.
