The Swindon & Cricklade Railway was one of the first heritage railways to undertake the complete reconstruction of a standard-gauge railway with no legacy of track or buildings and we celebrated our 40th Anniversary in 2018.

They offer round-trip passenger journeys of approximately 4.5 miles with steam and diesel hauled trains running between Blunsdon and Hayes Knoll Stations, plus an extension south to Taw Valley Halt, accessible at Mouldon Hill Country Park within North Swindon.
