Swindon evening service changes from 28th July

From Sunday the 28th July, there will be some changes to evening services that currently serve the bus station after approximately 1900 each day as follows;

• Services 1, 1A, 1B towards Middleleaze or Sparcells will continue on the normal daytime route, serving the stops on Corporation Street (J) and Manchester Road (L) and no longer serve bus station Stand 10 after 1900.

• Services 1,1A and 1B towards GWH will continue to serve bus station stand 7 until end of service as they do all day.

• Service 5 towards Haydon Wick will continue on the normal daytime route, serving the usual stops on Corporation Street (J) and Manchester Road (W) and no longer serve bus station Stand 9 after 1900.

• Service 5 towards Park North will continue on the normal daytime route, serving the usual stops at Regent Circus (A) and Spring Gardens and no longer serve Corporation Street (J) or bus station Stand 8 after 1900.

• Services 11 and 12 towards Wichelstowe or GWH will continue on the normal daytime route, serving the stops on Corporation Street (K) and Princes Street (F) and no longer serve bus station Stand 17 after 1900.

• Services 11 and 12 towards Oakhurst will continue on the normal daytime route, serving the stops on Princes Street (G), Corporation Street (J), Manchester Road (W) and the Railway Station (R) and no longer serve bus station Stand 3 after 1900.

• Service 17 in order to improve reliability the timetable has been revised in the evenings from approximately 1900 onwards in both directions - please check your times carefully.

• Service 17 towards Park North will no longer serve bus station Stand 18 after 1900 and will serve the stops on Corporation Street (K) and Regent Circus (D) all day

• Service 17 towards Penhill will no longer serve bus station Stand 15 after 1900 and will serve the stops at Regent Circus (C), Corporation Street (J) and the Railway Station (R) all day.

• The last three journeys on service 22 from Barnfield that currently terminate in the bus station Mondays to Saturdays will continue beyond the rail station to serve Corporation Street (K) and terminate at Regent Circus instead, no longer serving the bus station

• The last two journeys on service 22 to Barnfield Mondays to Saturdays that currently start from bus station Stand 8 at 2050 and 2120 will instead start from Regent Circus (G) at these times, and run two minutes later throughout, serving the usual stops on Corporation Street (J) and Manchester Road (L).

• Services 2, 13, 13A, 14, 14A, 15 and 16 are unchanged and will all continue to run from their existing stands in the bus station with no changes to timetables. Some journeys into the town centre on these services will drop off on Stand L on Manchester Road outside the bus station and not enter the bus station itself.
