Timetable improvements for services 40 & 42

From Monday 4th November, there will be some amendments to Services 40 and 42 in the Calne area following a review of our current timetable. Most journeys are unchanged but the following will be slightly revised:

• The 0725 42 from Calne Post Office will leave at 0720 and will then run five minutes earlier throughout to ensure a reliable arrival at Marlborough St Johns School
• The 0850 40C is retimed to leave School Road (for the Medical Centre) at 0845 and will run five minutes earlier throughout
• The 1540 42 from Calne The Pippin will depart at 1545 with times revised throughout and the "on request" section on this journey for Heddington & Stockley removed due to lack of use, with arrival at Marlborough High Street now 1631
• The 1627 42 from Marlborough St Johns School is retimed to leave ten minutes later at 1637, with departure from Marlborough High Street at 1645 Lockeridge and West Overton on this journey are reduced to "on request" only
• The 1740 42 from Marlborough High Street is retimed to depart five minutes later at 1745, with Lockeridge and West Overton amended to be on request only and arriving in Calne at 1827
• Saturday timetables are largely unchanged but there will be some minor amends - please check carefully.
