Travel with Swindon's Bus Company half price this World Car Free Day!

Swindon’s Bus Company is offering half price travel for the whole of World Car Free Day on Sunday 22 September, in a bid to encourage more people to use sustainable transport.

Anyone using our app will be able to download the special dayrider and enjoy unlimited travel in-and-around Swindon.

World Car Free Day is an initiative aimed at easing congestion and improving air quality by promoting mass transit, cycling and walking to motorists as alternative methods of travel.

At Swindon’s Bus Company, we welcome any initiative designed to reduce the harmful effects exhaust emissions have on the environment.

Since acquiring the previously named Thamesdown Transport in 2017, we have introduced a large number of brand new buses to operate our services across Swindon and the surrounding area. Our newest buses sport the very latest Euro 6 engine - releasing fewer emissions than the average new diesel car.
