We're holding a special recruitment event on Sunday 20 July 2025, so you can find out for yourself what it's like to drive a bus!

- Time: 10.00am to 1.00pm - all welcome
- Time: 1.00pm to 2.00pm - women only
- Where: Swindon's Bus Company, Barnfield Rd, Swindon SN2 2DJ
- Parking available
On the day you will be greeted by our talented, friendly training team, who will welcome you to take the wheel so you can experience what it's like to drive a bus for yourself in the safety of an off road environment.
We’re accepting applications from anyone. All we ask is that you have a car driving license and an enthusiasm and aptitude for the role. We’ll do the rest.

We're on a mission to recruit more women drivers! Women only session from 1pm-2pm
We also want to increase the amount of women we employ, so we have a more balanced workforce. To help with this, we’ll be dedicating part of the day as a women-only session.
The event will provide a great chance for those interested in joining us to find out more about what’s involved. Plus, you will get to meet many of fantastic women who already work here and find out what they love about the job.
Those with a customer service or retail background will be particularly welcome because we value this kind of experience as highly as driving skills.
